Radicals for Capitalism

If you have any interest in the history of the modern libertarian movement (Milton Frieidman, Ayn Rand, Ludwig von Mises, Friedrich Hayek, Muray Rothbard, etc.) then you will probably want to read Brian Doherty''s just released Radical for Capitalism, which tells the movement's story and the role of many colorful characters from the early forties to the present. Though not biblically related, I mention it because I was/am part of the movement and I'm quoted a few times in the course of the book. The book was a long time in the making. Brian interviewed me over twelve years ago for background. Sunday's NY Times gave it the expected smarmy review but even the reviewer had to admit that the movement has had/will have quite an impact on our political future.
