Tel Dan is the site of the recently discovered "King David" inscription that dates to about a century or so after David's purported reign. Site excavator David Ilan (acting director of the Nelson Glueck School of Biblical Archaeology and Professor of Judaic Studies at Johns Hopkins University) will be giving a talk in NYC on February 14 at 6 PM at Hebrew Union College. The title of the talk is The Hidden Secrets of Tel Dan.
There is no charge for the lecture. Hebrew Union College is located at One West 4th Street in Manhattan.
